The article goes on to talk about McCain’s position on wanting to talk to Russian and Chinese leaders to control and reduce the proliferation of nuclear weapons. McCain downplays this policy as not the same policy as Obama’s. He explains that this policy has been used by previous administrations in the past and Obama is not the first to advocate for it. Furthermore, McCain makes clear that his position on Iraq has not changed. He said, “I will never surrender in Iraq, my friends.”

OBAMA SAYS HE IS CONSIDERING A TRIP TO IRAQ

This news article presents us with the following facts and/or ideas: Barack Obama has a plan to visit Iraq. However, he wants to make clear that his trip will not be a political stunt and Mr. McCain will not be accompanying him. The article mentions that the plan to travel to Iraq has been in the work for a few weeks. They go further to explain that the democratic presidential nomination has made it very difficult for Obama to travel over seas. The article also talks about McCain comments on how long has taken Obama to visit Iraq.
